Kim Inglis
Founder & Chair, Making Waves for Autism Kim Inglis founded Making Waves for Autism in memory of her cousin Tyler and in honour of his son Ryder, who is on the autism spectrum. What began as a personal 365-kilometre solo paddling challenge has grown into a national movement uniting paddlers, clubs, and communities across Canada. Driven by a belief in the power of sport to create change, Kim leads Making Waves for Autism with a focus on awareness, inclusion, and action. Under her leadership, the initiative has partnered with Autism Canada and clubs nationwide to raise funds for autism training programs, promote understanding of neurodiversity, and inspire people of all ages and abilities to make a difference — one stroke at a time. Through her vision and dedication, Making Waves for Autism continues to grow as a movement that connects purpose with passion, helping communities come together in support of families affected by autism. |
